Figured with so much interest I'd share another project with ya
Start with a nice rough sanded handle ( just feel like rough wood gives glue better adhesion)

Next I fit skins and cut slits in the back corners to wrap skin nice n neat, also I overlay skins about 1/4 inch
(http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j377/armucheelongbows/1ee3cd32.jpg)
Use dome tb3 and get a nice coat on one side

Now it's time to put em on, after I get it like I want it I really rub the skins to make sure all air bubbles are out and glue is nice n even. Again rub this until it is really stuck on there.

Really pay attention to the corners
(http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j377/armucheelongbows/922a9d48.jpg)
Before going to other half make sure to remove all scales with tape so that the over lapping part doesn't come off
Then Move on to 2nd half
Repeat above step again rubbin all air out until good n dry

Once you got that let it sit 24 hrs,
To be continued
:bigsmyl: :clapper:
very interesting.... :D
I will be interested in seeing that finished and how well it holds up after use!
Cool idea.

Brandon, those handles turned out nice! Interesting Idea. I'm concerned they will not stand the test of time or hard use! I hope they will.
