Title: Caramel Apple Swayback
Post by: srtben on May 18, 2012, 06:06:00 PM
This is a new design for design for me. It is my interpretation of some of the gorgeous traditional swayback folders that I have been seeing lately.
The handle scales are natural canvas micarta w/ toxic green liners. It looks kind of like a caramel apple to me!
The Oal is 8" and the blade from tip to handle is 4" of acid etched L6.
Let me know what you think! All feedback is welcome.

I like it, alot.  But I like all your knives so I am easy   :)

I would like to see it with a little drop point out front.

That is a nice looking knife Ben, I would like it more with a different color spacer but that is a minor thing, really like the handle shape very natural loooking

Another nice one, Ben.  The lines flow nicely and the green adds a cool "pop".

Very nice.  Your work really went from good to great in a hurry.  I really dig your style.  I like the way that the blade and the handle have a mirrored effect, in that the belly of the handle reflects a mirrored profile of the spine of the blade.  I'll have to order a bushcraft knife from you in the near future  :)
