Title: Drawn Back to Osage
Post by: tippit on April 16, 2012, 01:52:00 PM
There is just something special about Osage.  Maybe cause it makes such great selfbows or the colors as it ages...but I seem to be continually drawn back even when I have have some beautiful bone, stag, desert ironwood, etc...tippit

Caper forged from 52100 and 8 inches OAL

I like that one Jeff. Nice all over.
I have a couple of bows going right now that have that colored/mottled/streaky osage inthe limb and riser. I LOVE IT!

There is something special about it. Good looking knives. The wood is much like the riser on my Roy Hall.

I am another guy who loves that knife. You have used one of my favorite knife steels, forged and ground it into a beautiful and functional blade, and attached those lovely Osage slabs. A knife doesn't get much nicer than this one, Jeff! Congratulations on a job exceedingly well done!!!
