Or a tactical trailing point, or maybe a persian fighter? This is probably the last one I will have time to finish in time for the OKCA show next week.
It is a lot different than the majority of my "tactical" knives, but I think it has really cool lines. What do you think?
Oal is about 9 5/8", with a 5" blade of .214" 5160.

I'm usually not a trailing point fan.......I am now! :-)
i like it . looks it could be use in a situations. good job
I like the blade design
Call it what you want, I think it's a good, functional, design that you have masterfully crafted.
I like all of your work, Ben. Very cool work on that micarta. When I saw the first pic, I was wondering what type of horn it was.... until I scrolled down to the close-up. :D
Nice job, as usual.

well tactical i say not! i would say a bush craft skinner i like more curved blades for bush craft and that knife looks very simple, tough, full tang and lanyard hole. great job though. id carry that sucker in a heart beat. and of course my favorite color being black is even more of a plus.
Pretty Clever !I think I like it !!!.
Thanks guys, this one definitely won't slip out of your hands when using it!
Well I like that one,
Yep, that's some serious texturing, maybe call it the "gator hide" look, should a very nice user Ben.
very nice.
That is nice!
I can't decide which I like better the knife or the sheath! This would be one I would love to own!

Thanks Doug, "Gator hide", I might have to use that!! It is actually very comfortable to hold and it gives excellent grip even with gloves on.
That is a good looking knife!
Thanks guys for the kind words!
FYI this one is currently available.
Looks nice, Ben. Not too deep a spine on the trailing point, which I like.

Yeah that is a great looking knife for sure. One thing I get out of seeing it is that it begs to be USED. That would be an awesome hip knife for a hog hunter.
You are a talented fellow for sure....as are a great many of the knife guys here. I find myself wanting new knives every time I come here to check out the newest pics.
Thanks for posting it.

Oh I forgot something....
What does Trailing Point mean?

your work is sweet - Admittedly I steel ideas from your knives a lot! Yours and many others here as well. I think the exposed tail will be going on a knife of mine soon. Not sure if I will ever need too but it sure would make a great "Bonker" in the right situation!
