Title: Bushcrafter
Post by: snakewood3 on February 05, 2012, 11:32:00 AM
Blade by Jim Wester, 25 years forging experience.
" Forged from round bars of O-1 (high carbon steel). Differencial hardened - just the edges are hard, the backs are left "soft" and tough, to withstand a lot of shock. "
I have scaled this one with bookmatched snakewood and copper. Bronze pins in copper.
A very tough, scary sharp, tool that begs to be put to work. Still tweaking sheath design.
