Title: First folder of the new year

Heres a little folder I recently finished.
My damascus,1080 and 15N20
stainless screws
dyed maple burl(scales)

The overall flow on that one is perhaps the best I've seen of any folder...wonderful balance!  Excellent work all the way around!

The hardest part Gene, is keeping everything absolutely straight and tight.
When Karl was showing me the final things about being a knife maker ,it was alot about everything being straight and true from square one to the end.Thats really holds true with folders

Kevin, that's a beauty!

I can begin to appreciate the work and planning put into a folder as I am working on a very primitive friction folder using a whitetail crown.  I know it's much different, like comparing apples & oranges.

Rob ,The Blade is almost 3'" and the knife folded is 3.5"
