Title: Hammer Time
Post by: Steve Nuckels on December 29, 2011, 08:53:00 PM
I'm a fortunate man for sure, my wife gave me some new hammers for Christmas!  Ergonomic hammers from Kayne & Son, they are forged and come dressed and polished.  2.5 & 2 lbs. The handles are short and I like the rectangular cross section.  I also got the 2012 Knives annual and the Bill Moran "Damascus" DVD.

Steve,
Those rank right at the top along with my Brent Baily hammer.  I just got a 2.5# ergonomic diagonal peen for my new shop in Aiken.

Actually Brent makes some real nice Hofi style hammers at near the cost of everyone else.

Very nice. Funny, though, I also got a 2.5# japanese style hammer and the 2012 Knives Annual. For my birthday a few days before I got a 22 quart roaster (giant crock pot) that is a fantastic quenching tank.
