Here is my new hunting knife package. My good friend Terry Knipshield gifted me this knife. He knows I prefer a smaller knife. I really liked the Loveless style drop point skinner he built that sold to a TG member. So Terry just went ahead and sent me a scaled down version. What a nice surprise! So I built one of my famous (ha ha I wish) cross draw friction fits. I did the snake skin tooling that I personaly like a lot in cognac for my prefered color. I wanted to do something difrent on the back so I finger carved it or free cuts. I wanted to do some scrolls so this is wahat she looks like. Enjoy!

Both the knife and sheath are what can only be described as sexy!
Very nice combo. Scott, you are a talented and gifted craftsman. Your skill with leather continues to impress.
I am building a knife and sheath combo for my son for Christmas and if you don't mind, your sheath will be the concept for his. Thanks.
Scott, Quit it.... You are killing me, I can't wait to see the one your doing for me.... Please... Patiently Waiting in Tejas.

Scott,
I have a full size Lovelace style knife like that, but the smaller version is more what I prefer too. That combination of knife/sheath may be in my future. Great job on the sheath. I have one of your sheaths, and it is one of the finest I have seen or owned. I do want to add that Robin Severe may be your biggest competition among the TradGang members. You guys are both out-of-sight in your leather working skills!!

Very nice Scott. I like the scroll cutting, don't see it as much as we should.
I looked at some very old work years ago of birds in flite cut into leather. It still boggles my mind that the guy could cut it freehand.
Very nice.
Thanks for the compliments guys. Robin thanks also. I feel I am just reaching a point in my leather work where things can really take off. I worked for Kieth Siedel for a period of 2 years. In that I really learned a lot on construction and basically started from sweeping floors and rubbing edges. My tooling and swivel knive work has come a long ways and I hope to refine it more. Thanks again Scott
Scott,
I love the dressing on the back side of the sheath! I have a New England knife collectors show this Sunday...that's my excuse anyway why I haven't sent a package to Wyoming  I'll be mailing it out next week...Jeff
I know how it goes Jeff. When you work full time and the hunting season is on some things wait.
Jaw dropping!
Great package! I like the Loveless style and the green canvas micarta too.
The sheath is top notch for sure, you do great work! Love all the cool detail!
