Title: The "Mesabi"
Post by: kbaknife on September 27, 2011, 11:50:00 AM
Definitely the season to be making knives for the great outdoors to accomplish all sorts of tasks.
This one is off to Germany to travel around Europe.
The "Mesabi".
W1 tool steel with a processed hamon, a crested spine, and a brown dyed and stabilized Curly Maple handle fitted up with stainless steel take-down fittings.

That sure is pretty, I really like the spine and the maple is very nice, someone will be really happy.

Another beauty, Karl.  What're the dimensions?

Very nice knife Karl. It looks like plenty of knife for anything in Europe, or anywhere for that matter.
