Title: Chef's/Camp knife
Post by: Rusty Snuffers on September 24, 2011, 08:38:00 PM
Here's the one I did for my wife.  Blade is from Jantz, handle is stabilized buckeye burl.  Photos just don't do this one justice.  At least MY photos don't...

The blade has a mirror finish so the colors are actually a reflection of the sky.

Thanks for looking

Closer look at the scales:

That's a pretty job. Your gettin some great practice for when you start forging your blades. That's a smart thing to be doing. Nice work.

That is nice!

I'm working on a chef's knife with a Micarta handle.

You're doing great and Lin's right-handles can be tough and you're already getting great practice for when you begin forging.  I'm sure your wife will love using the knife, good job.
