Title: New Scandinavian Style Knife
Post by: SveinD on September 06, 2011, 11:28:00 AM
Made this knife for my friend, Johnsen. He was originally given a padauk/osage knife, but I wasn't too pleased with it and made this instead.

Of course it's useless without a sheath, so I'm taking a course in leatherworking later this month^^

Blade is 3-laminated steel by Johan Hamre, 7th generation blacksmith here in Norway.
Handle is Cocobolo with Moose Antler, red spacers and tinn.

That looks fantastic.  If your friend isn't happy with it, I think you could easily make a new one with that knife  ;) .

Very nice knife Svein.  Nice clean joints and lines in the handle materials. Enjoy the leather working course.
