This knife was a real struggle,So much so it will be my personal carry probably.
It was my first attempt with W-2. Bad news is I have a ways to go to get Harmon correct, good news this may be the best steel I have used it got hard and is the sharpest stuff I have seen.I believe the performance will be great.
As you can see I left the blade dark etched I am hard on a knife ,they rust bad so I thought leaving it etched dark would help stop rust.
Here are the specs.
W-2 steel
My Damascus (bolsters)
Stainless screws
gold and Black stabilized maple scales
file worked back-strap
Blue Iodized titanium liners

Wow! I love how it incorporates so many different techniques. Beautiful knife!
I think you are making excuses so you can keep the knife for yourself. ;) Looks terrific to me.

Hey Karl do those Bolsters look familar,They are two pieces of that w-pattern we did at your house couple years ago.
That is the last of the billet though. Its the one we broke while taking it off the plate. LOL also made my 100th knife out of that billet

I used some of that myself. Left-overs come in handy.
