Here is a little stock removal knife I recently finished. 2 7/8" blade, 6" OAL. Curly maple scales, Old sawmill blade.
I'm calling it Sacrifical steel because early on during the making I made several mistakes and almost abandoned the project.

The knife is edge quenched and etched, too bad you can't see the temper line in the photo. And the maple is better that it looks. I used a small triangle file for the handle detail.
Dana, the makers mark is the same one I have been using, maybe I struck this one deeper!
