One for the upcoming Blade Show in Atlanta:
A high layer Twist blade in a fixed assembly with crushed Ws fittings and a stag handle.
Everything hot-blued.
"Bolted" together internally.
This offered a couple challenges for me. Some folks may not like it much as it weighs about 11 pounds!

That was a joke.
Just that with the stag, the internal steel parts, butt cap and epoxy, she's a handful.
You did great job matching that stag to the knife Karl. The filing around the butt cap is a nice touch.
I like that one a good bit. Very nice Karl.
Wowzer!!!!!!!!
Wowzer Indeed!
I do like that!
Have a great time at the show!

Very nice!!!!
Sure looks good to me. You did a great job of making the transition between the blade and the guard look seamless, even with the Damascus pattern.
I like to keep my knives below 10 pounds though. :D
