This is my first attempt at a folder, kind of just a trial. I think it came out alright, but I like making blades without moving parts better! :)
The handle is scorched padauk and the blade is 15n20.

I kind of like these old Colonial folders. I also like the way you did this one. I am planning on making some in the near future

Sweet looking folder, I would like to try one too but have no idea where to begin. Did you make all of the parts from scratch?
That is a sweet looking folder. My question is... How did they carry friction folders in the old days without getting poked?
All the parts were made from scratch, its pretty basic really. a pivot pin, a stop pin, no liners and a small spacer on the handle. If I can do it anyone can! :)

From what I've seen they were usually carried in a pouch.
