A few years back I took one in the shorts [still hurts] on the big site. Bow sat on the bottom of the bow rack for a long time. A friend of mine is a custom knifemaker and this is what we came up with.
Knife on left is rosewood and the one on the right is purpleheart.

Yes the two knifes were made out of a 1959 Kodiak riser.
