Title: Small Bowie
Post by: LONGBOWKID on September 06, 2010, 10:30:00 PM
Just finished this one up. Sculpted bocote and walnut handle with a forged, flat ground 1084 blade. The blade has a 400 grit hand rubbed finish and the handle is taken to 800 grit. 7 3/4" OAL. It has a slight hamon that you can just barely see in person. Just thought Id share it with yall.

Looks very nice, kid. After this deer season I hope to get into making some blades.

Hope you have a great season

Gilbert,

Thank you for the kind words. Good luck this year to you as well, don't kill em' all! Let me know when you get started if I can help you out in any way.

Nice looking knife.  I really like the handle shape.  Looks very comfortable.
