Title: Schrade Old Timer Wanna-Be
Post by: Scott Roush on July 15, 2010, 09:47:00 PM
Here is a knife made on request. He wanted deer antler bolsters, brass and an Old Timer type shape. The wood is black walnut.
It is 8" OAL, Aldo 1084 clay quenched (in oil this time!).  I bought some EDM stones and japanese water stones for finishing and what a difference. So nice not using all that paper and boy do those EDM stones cut.  I would highly recommend this. I got the big 1" wide, 1/2" thick.

Scott, that is a fantastic knife!  Really nice work!  I like everything about it, especially the handle shape.

Could you please send me a link for the stones?
