For those big chores around camp and clearing that next path through the woods.
Forged from some large stock 1095 and clay processed during the heat treatment for a hamon.
Some choice African Blackwood for a firm handle grip when hacking through the jungle or defending oneself from wild boars.
Or Sasquatch.
Selectively polished stainless double guard.

Beautiful!!!!
Is that your usual grind or a full flat grind Karl?
She's a real looker. Love that hamon and the fit and finish is superb as always.
Brandon
Well, when it comes down to it, it IS my normal grind, which is full flat, to about 98.5% complete, and then a "special" process right at the end to leave a tiny bit of mass right above the cutting edge to support abuse.
I use absolutely NO slack belt at all in my grinds.
It has a wicked sort of a beauty to it Karl. A real knockout. Lin :clapper:
Cool Karl!!
Karl, your work and style has a very solid and great appeal! Always enjoy your posts! My knife (Brokeback Chairman) made short work of a field dressing chore this past season!
Thanks,
Steve
