Title: Back Pack Knife Sheath
Post by: tippit on January 21, 2010, 09:19:00 AM
My favorite hunting day pack is a Eberlestock X2.  It is very comfortable and large enough to get my ghillie suite, extra clothes, water and any supplies I'd need if hunting away from camp for the day.

I always carry an extra knife or two...but some times I have to dig deep to find one.  Not any more...I think my Tippit Pack Knife Sheath should keep one handy  :)   Flat leather back is laced into the webbing straps of the pack with paracord... Doc

That's a cool idea!
Now give that sheath a 3 second dip in 200 degree neetsfoot oil and you're all set.
(Nice pack as well. I'm gonna go look that up!)

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT SHEATH IS THAT IT HAS "MY" DREAM KNIFE IN IT! GOOD STUFF, JEFF.

Looks great Jeff.
Skirting leather will get polish in and look even better.
I'm trying a small folder sheath high on a shoulder strap. My plan is a easy on and off and as streamlined as possible. Hope it works.
