Title: SOME KNIVES
Post by: sticshooter on December 05, 2009, 09:45:00 AM
Well I had a guy ask for a dagger type knife for removing the ummm poop shoot from deer and what ever else needs to be removed..I never did one before. And so I eye balled this one. Made from a nick file and has a file bolster and stained maple handle. Blade is 5.5".

i also had 4 more to finish up. all have stained handles but the raspy mini(new style) i like it better gives a better grip and seems to be better to use.. The other skinner is a blade I cut and is the same as my new style guthook..but without the hook..<><

That would be good.  Let me know if the wood works out and you like it.  I have a couple of more pieces about the same size you can have.

If we go out west do you want some dead cholla cactus?

Frank, nice work on all of those, you sure make some handsome and functional knives!

The dagger looks very nice, I would find that to be a serious challange to make!

Very nice!
