Title: Exotic Knives
Post by: Mechslasher on March 16, 2009, 09:15:00 PM
here's a couple i finished this past weekend. the black has gemsbok horn scales and the white has swordfish bill scales.  the gator skin was given to me by a good friend from florida who got it from a reputable gator farm.

VERY VERY Nice Chris! I especially like the Gemsbok handle one. How does it feel in the hand being grooved like that?

Good looking pair of knives! Looks like you did some file work on the back of the blades?

thanx fellows!  i love gemsbok horn for scales and hidden tang knives.  it feels great in the hand and polishes up like buf horn.  tip, i had to flatten them a little and was able to line up the grooves so my fingers fit in them perfectly while holding the grip.
