Title: Small game hunter
Post by: robtattoo on January 16, 2009, 07:31:00 AM
Got this 'un finished up last night. My first play with G10 as a handle material. Man, this stuff burns easily (hence the discolouration around the centre pin       )

Fully flat ground 01, fulltang construction. Blaze Orange G10 with black & white liners.....

Nice grind.  Now when you land in TN you'll have to pick up a KMG or something similar    tippit

I have a question as I am working on my first knife.  When you add liners, do you glue them on as the same time you glue the scales on?  (Knife, epoxy, liner, epoxy, scale)

A very basic (stupid) question, but I just want to make sure.

Thanks

Vance

Yeah, I'll be packing it with me + a couple of 'spares' just in case  :D

It's always a struggle knowing which knife to bring, especially as I'm picking up one of Karl's creations from Woody this time too!

I'm really hoping to get one sticky this year.

Well heck if your getting one of Karl's you wont need any of those spares your bringing so's you can just leave them with somebody that is sure to get them sticky  ;)

Rob, that is a real nice knife.  The G10 is nearly bulletproof.
