Overkill?  Maybee, but pretty darn cool.  I love the antler handled blades

That looks like a great time to me!  Knives look great, flinlock looks great, and the squirrel looks delicious!  There's no such thing as too dead, either!

the lock is on the wrong side of the stock but it still looks great.  how long was the blood trail?  i've been looking for me a squirrel rifle like that for a while now.  guess i'll have to use my .45 flinter this year, now that's overkill.
