A fine fellow serving overseas bought two knives-one for his Dad, and a matching one for himself.
I built them at his request out of osage, which should "honey" up some with sunlight exposure.
I did the filework on the spine just slightly different so they could tell them apart...but they have matching sheaths, blades, pins, and shape.
a FINE son, and a deserving father, I am certain.

They are truly an awesome pair -- I can attest to it. Ray, thank you and I know they'll come in real handy next September at your place.

That Osage is looking sooooo good. Did you harvest it yourself Ray? Lin
Ray, thanks for the great knives
No, Lin...we dont have too awful many osage in Georgia..and if one falls, there's fifty guys standing around waiting for the wood!
I got it from a TradGang member who provides laminations and other wood items on the Sponsor's Classifieds.
You are welcome, Chris..it was my pleasure to build them for you. Can't wait to meet you next year at hunting camp!
