Post by: dorris on June 28, 2008, 08:45:00 PM
heres a helle laplander blade I am working on got it roughed together today has a goat hor andle and I made a aluminum finger guard wanting some opinions of it good or bad let me know . it is not finished and the blade has all kinds of finger prints on it so dont take that in consideration . the hole in the side of the horn is for a pin when I get to that part .

I like it! Anyone can build something that looks like all the rest. I am a designer, painter and if everyone liked what I was doing, I know that I was doing something wrong, by trying to please others too much and myself not enough. My goal is to please about 75% of all people and 100% of the people who hire me. I have been in business for 22 years.

Can you post a pic when your done with it in your hand? Right now it looks very slender for that size blade but I would like to see how it fits in a hand. How does it feel to you?
