Title: skin'n/capeing knife
Post by: oldpaths on June 06, 2008, 09:25:00 PM
here's another skin'n knife I made from a old hickory butcher knife the handle material is some scrap wood I was lucky enough to get from MR.Stahl of rose oak creations,by the way he makes some beautiful recurves "which I plan to own one someday when funds allow". Im happier with my file work on this one I dont think you can see it very well in the pics, sorry best I can do with my cell phone cam  :banghead:   hope you guy's like it  (http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm22/oldpaths/cid__0604080954.jpg) (http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm22/oldpaths/cid__0604080955.jpg) (http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm22/oldpaths/cid__0605081939a.jpg) (http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm22/oldpaths/cid__0605081938.jpg)

That is sweet!! I really like the sheath as well.  I recognized the pattern on the blade from a cleaver I had when I was a kid.  Boy, that gave me fits for a few seconds ther trying to remember where I saw that before.  Thanks for sharing.
