All you guys might like to join me in congratulating Karl in achieving his JS stamp with the American Bladesmith Society. The big event was this past weekend at the Atlanta Blade Show. Karl's not exactly a new guy in the knifemaking world, none the less this is a proud moment in any knifemakers career! Congrats Karl!

Thanks guys - I mean that. It took me four years from beginning to "stamp".
As a matter for fact, I just came in from the shop after making a new jig to hold my "J.S." stamp in so I can press it into my frist JS knife!
Congratulations on your achievement.
Gene
congrats !!
Way to go Karl
Congratulations Karl. :)
I got to look first hand at his knives over the weekend and I think he was in no danger of failing the test. But, that being said, it really is an achievement. Quality workmanship and performance well describes his knives. Those five knives represent a lot of hard work.
