Ya know, I'm feeling a little infierior about using helle blades after looking at all the works of art here, but I like to make them none-the-less. Here are my two latest ones.
The first one is just an antler handle with bighorn sheep/black phenolic spacers. Brass finger guard. It's the odell blade.

The next one is osage and gaboon ebony with a mosaic stripe of osage/ebony accented by bloodwood. Brass finger guard and lanyard hole. It's the varg blade.

Maybe they'll inspire someone else with limited steel working experience like myself. Mike
Some fellas are good with steel, some with wood. Some are good with both. Then thers us fellers that ain't much good with eather one, but we are all having a lot of fun. Each to his own. I tiink everyone hear is proud of ther stuff, and everyone should be.
Oh by the way, the knives look great.
Mike the osage one is awesome. well both are great but that osage always looks great.<><
That is a pair of beauties!!!!
I would be proud to claim either one.
You have nothing to feel inferior about. Those are both awesome. Those mosaic strips in the osage knife really make it pop and I'd easily say it is a functional work of art.
Nice!
Greg
