For those of you that shared the caribou camp with old "Sasquatch" Tim. I just got off of the phone with him and he got a nice Billy yesterday. He said that the base of the horns were 5 1/2" in diamater and 8 5/8 in length.
Said that he fell while packing the meat out last evening and looks like he ruined his long bow.
Anyway he wanted me to let everyone know and I'll probably post pictures next week if his wife emails them to me.
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Way to go Tim!!  :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:

Sorry to hear about the Bow, but congrats on a nice billy!
Tom
WOW that sounds like a great goat! :clapper:
Congrats to Tim!!! CJP make sure to get Tim to post some pictures and share his story with us.
Having been in goat country, I know what an amazing trophy this animal is. WOW and congratulations to Tim on an astounding achievement!
Claudia
Very cool!
Sacrificed a bow for a goat!makes a heck of a story Tim .congrats!Hey its easier to get bow than a goat tag.and a goat!
Amen to that Hillboy. Tim said that he is going to call Mike Hayes and order a new set of limbs for his Black Canyon.
he probably used it as a climbers pick to keep from falling coming down the mountain with all that goat meat on his back......
I knew Tim could get it done...he's a hard hunter.
Ok Tim where are the pics? We are anxiously waiting for story and pics.
Amazing accomplishment! Watched a show last night and they were goat hunting with muzzleloaders. It ain't no easy hunt! Can't wait to see the photos and read the story. Mike
Ok, did I miss it? Where is the story and pics?
I have asked Tim several times to send me pictures and a story.
Reckon I'll ask his wife and she'll get a fore built
I haven't sacrificed a whole bow on a goat hunt before but I have sacrificed HALF a bow on a goat hunt! Well worth the trade!
Well,, would you believe I finally have the proof.
Here are the pictures.

Good job Tim. Now you have got to get on here and tell the story that is your job not no-one elses
That is just awesome!!! Now lets hear the story Tim.
It looks alive in the bottom pic.
From what I understand that's a heck of an accomplishment. Congrats to the lucky hunter. :notworthy:
Mickey, beieve me I have already teased him of grabbing a tamed goat by the horn and getting his picture made.
He got a good laugh out of it as well. It was quiet the hunt from what Tim was telling me.
Very cool!
bravo zulu
I'm anxious to hear the story and see more pics of the terrain. I'm gearing up for a 2008 DIY bowhunt in the Beartooths for bighorn sheep. I'm reading everything I can get my hands on relating to the Montana Unlimited areas.Congrats on the goat!
Very nice goat - hope to see the story here.
Rtherber, search the Bowsite sheep threads for one by "Windsurferlawman" last fall - he had quite an interesting experience in the unlimited MT areas......

Great Goat...congrats....I think I missed the story.....
