Killdeer :archer:
Well i guess we know who wears the pants in your house, LOL! You are a lucky man.
Hey Denny, Looks like your going to need to invest in a new freezer!! LOL. Either that or get the canner out & fired up!
Great shooting Mrs Sturgis!!!
Congratulations on your sucess.
:readit:
Congrats, what are the stats on that Widow ????
Mark
Marie, PeeWee, shoots a 56" SA; 47#@ 28", but she only draws around 24".
Jeff, I've shot a couple does too. We are canning a couple of them. Good stuff.

I got this old doe on video while field testing Ken Beck's new quiver design.
Nice deer. Great pics.
Great Pic...........and i like the way the quiver looks!!!!!!!!
Congrats to both of you, Denny. Nice big Deer up there!
Denny...that sure is one curious looking quiver...
Congrats to both of you!
Denny, It looks like you married way over your head!
Ya, we love canned venison! hows that new quiver working? I was going to try it out for Ken also, but wasn't willing to drill holes in my widow for mounting it.
Looks like a big ol doe! Good shooting! seeing any of those southern Michigan monster Bucks us northerners here tell of?? Shoot straight.
It is a good thing Denny put a picture of his wife up before putting up that picture of his "UGLY" Quiver! LOL!!!
I want one for my SAG!!!! I even have the inserts. HA HA HA!!!
Congrats on some fine deer, a fine family and good shooting.
denny,
congrats to you both. i was curious. noticed that you are using a tab, did you switch from using a glove? i have a couple of your earlier videos and you were using a glove. has it made a difference in your shooting? thanks.
The quiver is working fine. SOME of the guys on the Widow Wall have been calling it ugly!! LOL :)
It is Ken's baby and they hurt his feelings. Anyway, he got some more opinions and is currently redesigning "The Gambler". The neat thing about this quiver is the minimum amount of tourqe. Feels a lot more like a naked bow than with most bow mounted quivers.
Hey Bill, Yes I switched to a BW/Wilson tab. The plate has improved my shooting. I cut the finger fenders out. Marie uses one too. I can flip mine over and run the cameras easier also.
PeeWee hunted a pine thicket last night. She passed shots on several does and yearlings and a 3-point. Too bad she had her bow hanging when a 100" 8-point walked through one of her shooting lanes.
  :archer:
Denny: You need to get some of the women bowhunters together and do a DVD about/for them. Laura hunts with me and loves it. Does this pic look familiar?

Great jobs all.
Luckyyyyeee
Denny,
Congrats to your wife. Even bigger congrats to you for finding a great gal that likes to hunt with you. It looks like she is showing you up a bit. That should make you even prouder! Are you catching any of her success on camera? It is always refreshing to see a pretty face whack critters than to see one of us ugly old guys :scared: ! Best wishes, Brady
Congratulations to you Mrs. Sturgis! I hope we get to read the whole story in TBM or see it on an up and coming video.
Hey Denny,
You better keep PeeWee happy...it looks like she could grass bag you pretty easily if you got her upset. Tell her I said congrats!
Bryan
Very nice!thanks for sharing
Bet she can cook, too!
Good shooting.
GroundHunter, You bet she can cook! Now she has more to cook after today. LOL

Denny: using them Little Delta heads on that one?
Nice deer!!!
Nice job Denny!!!!!
What kind of quiver are you using?
Cool Post!!! Thanx for sharing.
Bill, Yes, I used a Little Delta head.
Terry, It's a Black Widow Prototype quiver ken has been working on. This is a second generation. He says the newest one is even better. The quiver sets real close to the riser and has less tourqe. The only downfall is that it only takes 2 blade heads.
Nice hat Denny. Did you get it from the Shriners and are there tassels on the back?
Congrats !!! Let us in on some details....great buck bud!!
Congrats Denny! Looks like a real nice buck. Now where is the story?
Nice Buck Denny!!!!!!!!!!!!Congrats
Hi Denny:
Your articles in TBM have really got me back into this stuff, in a big way.
Thanks for being such an inspiration.
Can you fill in some details on that great buck?
Best wishes,
Rich
Congratulations to the Sturgis family. It looks like the MI DNR is going to have to refigure deer population numbers in your neck of the woods. You're all stackin them like cordwood.

Nice buck Denny!! Is Ken working on a strap-on model yet. Looks Like that buck is Big bodied. How old? looks to be about a 3 1/2 yr old.
Mark, Hey LaClair isn't around so you decided to fill in? LOL, Actually it's an UA beanie. I took the propeller off for the pic. :)
Jeff, Haven't heard any mention of a strap-on model.
Season is open; no time for stories. I've seen some really nice bucks. Good luck everyone.
beautiful buck, Denny!! and cool quiver too ;)
Con Grads Denny..
Yeah, Denny, I have a hat with a propeller on it too, but I got the optional generator with it and can now charge by headlamp batteries as I walk around on windy days.
And talking about strap on stuff, I have a strap on Fox Quiver with an Asbell arrow holder that I made years ago, and will hold seven arrows. However, last month, when I walked into the kitchen tent at elk camp, the girls were talking about strap on something or other, but they shut up when I came through the flap. Don't think they were talking about my quiver.
Thats awesome! I think we need Marie to do a seminar at our MTB banquet one of these years! :clapper:
Stopped in for a look, before I head out. Nice job, and for your wife, fantastic!!!
