Marie, PeeWee, shoots a 56" SA; 47#@ 28", but she only draws around 24".

Jeff, I've shot a couple does too. We are canning a couple of them. Good stuff.

Ya, we love canned venison! hows that new quiver working? I was going to try it out for Ken also, but wasn't willing to drill holes in my widow for mounting it.
Looks like a big ol doe! Good shooting! seeing any of those southern Michigan monster Bucks us northerners here tell of?? Shoot straight.

denny,
congrats to you both. i was curious. noticed that you are using a tab, did you switch from using a glove? i have a couple of your earlier videos and you were using a glove. has it made a difference in your shooting? thanks.

The quiver is working fine. SOME of the guys on the Widow Wall have been calling it ugly!! LOL  :)

It is Ken's baby and they hurt his feelings. Anyway, he got some more opinions and is currently redesigning "The Gambler". The neat thing about this quiver is the minimum amount of tourqe. Feels a lot more like a naked bow than with most bow mounted quivers.

Hey Bill, Yes I switched to a BW/Wilson tab. The plate has improved my shooting. I cut the finger fenders out. Marie uses one too. I can flip mine over and run the cameras easier also.

PeeWee hunted a pine thicket last night. She passed shots on several does and yearlings and a 3-point. Too bad she had her bow hanging when a 100" 8-point walked through one of her shooting lanes.

Denny: You need to get some of the women bowhunters together and do a DVD about/for them. Laura hunts with me and loves it. Does this pic look familiar?

Denny,
Congrats to your wife.  Even bigger congrats to you for finding a great gal that likes to hunt with you.  It looks like she is showing you up a bit.  That should make you even prouder!  Are you catching any of her success on camera?  It is always refreshing to see a pretty face whack critters than to see one of us ugly old guys  :scared: !  Best wishes, Brady

Bill, Yes, I used a Little Delta head.

Terry, It's a Black Widow Prototype quiver ken has been working on. This is a second generation. He says the newest one is even better. The quiver sets real close to the riser and has less tourqe. The only downfall is that it only takes 2 blade heads.

Thanks for being such an inspiration.
Can you fill in some details on that great buck?

Nice buck Denny!! Is Ken working on a strap-on model yet. Looks Like that buck is Big bodied. How old? looks to be about a 3 1/2 yr old.

Mark, Hey LaClair isn't around so you decided to fill in? LOL, Actually it's an UA beanie. I took the propeller off for the pic.  :)

Jeff, Haven't heard any mention of a strap-on model.

Season is open; no time for stories. I've seen some really nice bucks. Good luck everyone.

Post by: Mark U on October 27, 2006, 09:44:00 PM
Yeah, Denny, I have a hat with a propeller on it too, but I got the optional generator with it and can now charge by headlamp batteries as I walk around on windy days.

And talking about strap on stuff, I have a strap on Fox Quiver with an Asbell arrow holder that I made years ago, and will hold seven arrows. However, last month, when I walked into the kitchen tent at elk camp, the girls were talking about strap on something or other, but they shut up when I came through the flap.  Don't think they were talking about my quiver.
