Title: band?
Post by: wingnut on January 31, 2007, 06:52:00 AM
Well just as you think you got it down someone throws you a curve.  This time it was a new customer in France that asked what band the new bow he bought needed.  I was frightened and confused as normal and asked him to explain the term.  Turns out it is a French/English term for brace height.  Does anyone know the origin of this term?

Mike, not sure about the origin, but I guess instead of using a ruler to find the height, he'd be using a "band aid".   :biglaugh:

Sorry, its early and I couldn't resist.

Mike, Just to let you know I got my bowblank from you in August and completed it in Oct.It turned out great and Thanks for your help! Now maybe I can help you with this term used for "Band" it would help to know if he  knows what kind of music he prefers. There is Country, Rock,Blues,HipHop,and so on, and so on.That's all I know about "band" hope that helped.God Bless and let us know when you guys are having another kid bow blank because I am getting ready to head to China and pic up our baby girl in about month or so and I want to get one of those bows for her one day.I think she likes bows better than baby dolls .People think I should let her make up her own mind but they seem to push these babydoll things her way, so I want to push the bow and arrow things her way if you know what I mean.I will sit and have tea time and play house if she wants but I want to show her what cowboys and indians do also! Thanks &God Bless!Keefers <")))><
