A terible boating accident claimed the life of an 11 year old girl named Ashley this past week, she was boating with her father and brother when she fell overboard, (perhaps getting hit by the boat she was riding in?) anyway, her granfather shared a portion of her diary dated 4-26-09:
" My God is an awesome God. I am not even as big as a vapor of air compared to Him yet He has numbered every hair on my head and has every detail of my life planned out for me ~ Ashley"
I have an 11 year old girl as well, and I can't even begin to imagine the pain and loss this family is going through right now. Please pray that God, the one that has welcomed Ashley home, is the one that gives this hurting family a peace that passes that all understanding, a pleace that can ONLY be found by Drawing close to Him and resting in His everlasting arms. PLEASE, Go give your chldren a hug while you still have the opportunity!!! And if by some chance, you don't KNOW the HE I am talking about, seek Him while He may be found, we are not guarantedd tomorrow, Ashley sure wasn't. Ask Jesus into your heart, turn from your ill hearted adventures and believe.
