One of my hunting buddies got deployed for the 5th time on Friday to go Iraq. He is an Army Ranger and lives and breathes the RED WHITE AND BLUE. I just ask everyone to give thanks to our Service men and women if it were not for them we would not have the priveledges and freedoms we enjoy so much. Also keep them in your thoughts and prayers for there saftey and courage.

Rangers Lead the Way! Thoughts and prayers for a safe deployment and thank him for his service.
Thank you
Thanks to the Vets. But we must remain vigilant here at home. My dad at 87 gets most of his many meds through the VA and they just cut "coumadin" from the VA med list "unless you get your weekly ptime blood tests at a VA facility". Going to a distant facility to get that simple test most doctor's offices now do in house is rediculous!
How many "vets" are on coumadin, the blood thinner? I'd think many who are aged and all who've had major reconstructive surgery.
This may just be the tip of the iceberg of current admin's attempt to slowly strip benefits from Vets--part of the "new" health care(less)! These guys and gals go, often get hurt BAD and then rely on the VA to help them cope with medical treatments and costs.
Let's pray for those in harm's way, yes, always and constantly, but lets also remember all those who have served and now are dependent on the country (Vets Admin) to help them cope with their injuries and illnesses after "time served" and not let this process of chipping away continue! Write your DC guys/gals and hollar loud!
Not trying to highjack your thread, Ed, but to add to the "after" part of caring for those vets who've paid a price and who do need medical attention.
Prayers up and away for your friend and his and others safe return...
Prayers for all our service people over seas.
Amen & praying
No problem Doc, Those who have served and are serving are often overlooked once they return home. Any and all Service Men and Women have my utmost respect and are always in my prayers and concerns. Big Ed)))))))))---------->
Rangers Lead the Way!
Prayers for a safe deployment, a safe return and a healthy future.
Because of him and his fellow soldiers we can enjoy life back home.
Hoooaaah.
I guess truthfully I never REALLY take ENOUGH time out to just set and bask in the freedoms that are so "NOT-FREELY" given,
5 times, wow, what a trooper, just for you and I to enjoy the life that was given to us by being born in this country, I thank the Military and I am a very respectful citizen that counts living here a GREAT OPPORTUNITY. I have been working wit the childs evangalism fellowship this week at summer camp and I got to meet a Missionary from Bolivia, and he got to sharing, WE ARE TRULY BLESSED in AMERICA, and I PRAY that we see the things that are heading us (USA) for a downfall before it is too late, but THANK GOD for the service men and women!!!!!!!!
Got a call from my buddy, he is at home safe and sound. Thank you all for your thoughts and Prayers. God Bless the USA.
Amen & praise God
That is GREAT news! Thank you, Lord!
Thanks for letting us add our voices to the cry for his safe return.
