I'm setting here at my computer waiting for a that dreaded phone call. My Sister's long battle with cancer is coming to a close. I have peace of mind knowing she will be making the journey to a better place, but it doesn't make it any easier at this point. She is a fine Christian women at the age of only 43. She will be leaving behind 6 children and a Husband that has been with her every step of the way through her illness. They just took her to the hospital a few hours ago and don't expect her to make it through the night. Any prayers for Her and the family would be greatly appreciated.
God Bless
James

I don't believe that God is a person. I believe that 'God' is part of what we're all made of. And we are all made of the same thing. Everything.
I will pray to the universal power that unites all living. Pray that her soul will be reborn in another entity of life. And most important of all, I wish for YOU, the strength to accept and overcome.
James,
KNowing your sister is walking with Jesus is a comfort for sure. Rest on that knowledge.
My uncle told me last I saw him that "even death is God's perfect healing" ---to be with Jesus and no longer in pain. He lived that to the end.
He suffered with bone cancer, went into remission and this was when it returned.
Prayers that the Holy Spirit cover her up with Grace, peace that passes all understanding and strength to live on faith. Prayers for the same for her loyal hubby, her kids and all the rest of you who love her.

Grief is a process, James. Not an event. Rejoice in her time being now with the Lord, but know it's also ok to grieve.
Prayers for peace for her immediate family and for those of you in her extended family and friends.
