Snake, just got in from the va hospital in Madison, Wi they ran an Ultrasound and They can't find any thing,But they still say it is there some wheres.
 I go to Milwaukee,Wi tomorrow for a Petc scan and back to madison for a mri scan and something about gastric and i don,t know what, so keep me in your prayers    Harold

Just got back from the hospital, went up yestarday and spent the night,was having some problems, got all the work done(X-rays ekg all the paper work )for the sugery it's  set for june5 , they are going to take the lower 1/3 of the left lung and they think at this point that it will fix me up.
  I had great plans for the Compton shoot this yers but will have to wait and see, Thanks to all of you and God Bless.
   Keep me in your prayers, any way it goes it will be a tuff one for me to handle    Harold

Want  to think all of the fine people on this forum they are the greatest.
     I had the sugery and am at home recuparation, every thing looks good, the doc. won't say for sure untill monday when the test comes back, but they do know that a lot of the stuff they tested was Not cancer and some of the limp nodes thet they were woried about was Neg. also,  So untill i know for sure i will just set and wait.
  i know that it is not the same with 1 2/3 lungs.
   Thanks again and i know it will never be over, so enjoy what time you have, as the song goes " were only here for a little while"  i know that now.
  Bob and Jan got your card today Love it will se you at compton and all that is coming.

As for the 2/3 lung, don't I remember from my old biology classes that humans use but a small portion of our lungs anyway?

Doc. The Duke ( John Wayne ) only had one Lung and it didn't slow him down too much.

not sure how I've been missing this post??????? I am sorry,I have 4 pretty close friends that have gone through cancer surgery this past year, 3 with complete mastectomies, (and lymph node removal on 2 of them) and 1 with bowel reconstruction, all still in chemo and radiation but so far things are going well, you will be in my prayers, Lord Bless.

We haven't had an update on Harold since the Blackhawk shoot in August. Can someone post some news?

Jan, things have been going crazy with me , ever time i turn around something new.
  I, am home for now just got here from 3 weeks in rehab that was after 10 days in the hospital.
   went to the doctor tuesday for an up date on the cancer and wound up getting 2 unites of blood, still can't walk without a walker.
      going to the doc. monday hope to know more then.   Take Care Harold

It is amazing that God, who very existance is doubted by so many, will pull us through the hard times, he will give us the peace that passes all understanding, and he will save our souls if we only ask.  Yet, so many fail to do just that.
Praise God that he still gives us victory through his blessed Son Jesus, the Christ.

   This stuff is going crazy every wheres you look, my brother just had skin cancer removed from his lip.
    I go for a C-scan tomorrow to see what can be done, so please say a pray for every one that has this Thing, that they can find a cure.

doc noc, you have been with me from the start on this thing and i think you and so has a lot of people here on the trad gang, don't want to try to thank all because i will miss some one and i sure don't want  to do that.
  I got back from the hospital a few minutes a go.
  I can't post anything right now because they are still doing test, i have a lot of things going on in the next 2 weeks and AT THIS POINT it looks a lot better than it did this morning but that can change over night.
   It sure has been a roller coster ride here this last year, keep saying prayer for me please  :pray:
