Now all i have to do is get the engagement ring sized then POP the Big Question. Even though I know her answer I am scared witless. Not a bad scared just amazed. Please pray for me and my future wife cant spell the French word meaning pre-wife.   Tyler

Marriage is an amazing thing when both people go in it with their hearts focused on each other and God, it sounds like you are on the right path.

Prayers and Blessings of abundance to you and your soon to be wife.

I pray that Jesus will be the center of your marriage. That you become first; best friends, second; equal partners walking hand in hand, third; after the first two you will finally be lovers.

June was a pretty lucky month for Mockingbird and me. You sound properly in awe of the giant step that you are about to make. It bodes well that you are thoughtful, and aware of the perils of leaping lightly into this pledge.

The trick is in picking a person whose faults you can tolerate, and who can cover for your own. Hmm. Mockingbird musta thought of himself as quite tolerant at the time.

I wish you both a home full of joy, and lives enriched by the journey of a lifetime.

I WISH YOU BOUNDLESS HAPPINESS AND ENDLESS FRIENDSHIP. MUTUAL RESPECT IS THE KEY TO MAKING IT WORK. ALWAYS TREAT HER LIKE A LADY. AFTER 35 YEARS, I AM STILL AMAZED BY HER.

I pray that you will learn to love, cherish and respect your bride as I  continue to love mine. I can not imagine being with anyone else. What a gift from God, when two are genuinely one...John

That boy ever tell us if she said "yes?" Been a while!  :)  Prayers for His will and they both to have insight and strength to know and heed that Will.

FI-YANCEEE was how that feller said it in The Commancheros- that John Wayne movie- just before they got into the fight!

Fiance ( fian-say) is how us cultured folk say it these days for the GUY she's marrying..and fiancee is how you say who SHE is....but "love of my life" is probably how SHE would like you to say it AND spell it!

Good luck. 32 years and counting here.
