Trad Gang

Need your prayers for a couple. First our daughter in law left the family for another guy or two. She told our son she'd been having an affair for the last 4 years. She feels she has the right to enjoy life her way. She says she doesn't believe in God anymore. I don't think she ever really knew Him. Anyway our son and the 3 girls need prayer for protection from the anger and self centered decite of their wife/mother.

Second my daughter is having a lot of trouble. She's lost her place to live and has lots of trouble. She's bipolar and has many other mental issues. She's lost both of her girls and has a tendency to her self. So she needs lots of God's love and comfort.

ah brother, what a heavy load you've got!  sending prayers up for your son and 3 girls and for your daughter in law.  Prayers for daughter.  That bipolar is such tricky thing to keep in balance.  Tough stuff. Pray that the Lord lifts you up.

Good thing God never gives us more than we can handle... sounds like you, Benson come from strong stock in God's eyes!

May grace and peace abide with you and your family. May His holy comfort rest on your son and his children through this tough time. Only God can punch through the anger and childish behavior of your daughter in law...

May God show special presence in your daughter's life and help her and her doctors find that right mix of things to help her return to normal function.

We ask all these things in His holy name, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.

Doc it's not that I'm from such strong stock as it is the pressure squeezing out anything that's not in His image.

:)  Guess I was trying to lift ya up some bud...saying that if He doesn't give more'n what we can handle...then you must be able to handle lots cause you got lots and the Lord must trust your faith to be pretty darned strong.

Course, someone once preached that "when things start going bad... rejoice, it means you got the devils attention cause you're walking close with God and the Liar is trying to push you off the path!

Keep the Son in your eyes, Benson... Desert times are for a reason too!

Doc I hope I didn't come across as upset. I was trying to add a bit of humor to the situation. Doc you have lifted me up thank you very much. It's great to know people care. The reality of my statement is the more of whats not Him in me is gone the more I'll enjoy being alive.
Love the warmth of the Son on my face and desert times have a season too. When the rains come the heart blooms.

BenBow,It's nice to have a full plate when we are really hungry but a lot of times we get that plate put in front of us and we are already stuffed.I'm praying for you pal.I've been through that split family divorce thing to much to even want to think about it.

Just received an e-mail from my daughter. She is now in a homeless shelter in another town. She is quite scared being alone and I'm 16 hours away and can't do anything. She says she's looking for work but hasn't been able to hold a job due to panic attacks. So life isn't looking too good to her right now. Please keep praying thank you.

Just saw this. Will pray everyday for you and yours.

bless her heart, Benson. Gotta feel powerless, but I'm coming to realize more as I age that is perhaps God's way of helping us realize we ARE powerless...only He can fix things...

Prayers for the Holy Spirit to grab hold of her and help her through all this and bring calm to her storm.

Benbow,I can remember when my daughter called me and was very upset with a situation that was going on when she lived in O.K. I live in P.A. What a desperate feeling.I can say with 100%certainty that God was the only reason I got thru that without going crazy.I am praying for your daughter that she can get a grasp on things and hopefully get calmed down. It is a tremendous burden we carry when we have children.  Sometimes illness, mental or physical adds to the burden, sometimes cicumstances are just no fun.  I lift you and your entire family up in prayer today.  

The good book tells us that in our fellowship with each other as Christians, we gain stregth.  
There have been so many times this Trad Gang family has lifted my spirits and helped me reset my sights on him.  I pray the same will be true for you today.

Got this e-mail from my daughter today.
"much drama...but you'd be surprised how well im coping. no drinking or cutting myself.
been going to church here. a lady from bible study at the shelter takes me to a pentacostal church....lol. and holy rollers, i can speak tongues now. i never thought that stuff was real. anyhow i seem to have a better attitude.  i have no clue in the world where ill be tomorrow or the next, but feel good and something called faith has helped me out.
just doing better and i thank you for your prayers."
