I first want to praise the Lord for bringing Doc Nock into a better situation with his new job. After all those months of faithfully, and sometimes painfully, waiting in faith it looks like he has turned the corner into something that is going to be good for him.
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Unfortuantely, now it is my turn to take another walk in faith with the Lord. I found out yesterday that the company I worked for was laying off about 25% of the corporate staff. My department was totally eliminated. He has always carried my family and I through when we face trials like this and I am sure that He will do it again.
So, I ask for prayers from all of my fellow trad prayer warriors for my job search and for my family.

You, sir, were included in our group prayer at church.

Larry,
We will certainly lift you up in prayer. Thank you for sharing with us so we can pray for you and your family. God is so good. He will provide.
We have some wonderful, powerful prayer warriors on this site. He will hear our pleas and answer them. Keep the faith.
God Bless,
Kim
The Lord does not creat these situations... they just happen. But he pays very close attention to how we handle them. One step in front of the other. Keep the faith. Prayers from the Grizz
Thanks for the continued prayers folks. I have my resume out to about a half dozen companies that have posted openings on the online job boards. Now it is the time of waiting for the call about an interview. Keep us in your prayers.
Thanks and blessings to all,
Larry
Snakeeater just remember that God never shuts a door without opening a window. I have spoke to him on your and your families behalf.

Psa 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
God Bless.
Well, I have had my resume in front of some hiring managers for a week now, but no news about an interview. Prayers please that I hear something one way or the other so I can proceed with other directions if needed. But, in all cases, prayers that I follow His plan for me during this trial.
Thanks to all,
Larry
MORE prayers for Larry...keep the faith buddy...mark#78
Thanks Mark!
Larry, praying for you! It is a difficult time when we are without a job. What field are you in?
Check out Monster.com and Hotjobs on Yahoo if you haven't already... John
Keep your eyes on the cross Brother, (as I'm sure you will). Sometimes when we think it's the end it turns out to be only the beginning of GOD'S plan for our lives. Glad to hear GOD'S plan for DOC is materializing. Prayers will continue for all.
GOD BLESS

Prayers sent.
Like you kept tellin me for those 2+ years, Larry...just keep them arrows in the air...
My archery mentor taught me that where the arrows land on target at distance will never teach you about accuracy..it's all in the form.
You know that "form" in job search is just keep on keeping on... What a glorious delemma when you have too many offers and have to make a "deal /no deal" decision!
Rest not on what might be but keep on keepin on, bro!
Well, I've been interviewed by three different folks at a company right here in Annapolis where I live. All three have gone well. Please keep me in your prayers for this to God's will for me and to make it come true.
Thanks again to all,
Larry

Continued prayers for His will to be done and for you to know His leadings...
Snakeeater,
I've been down that road and still in the recovery stage. So, keep the faith and be strong in the Lord. The poem "Footprints in the Sand" brought encouragement to me and still does. Hope this helps.
Have you had any success yet?
PRAISE REPORT!!!!
Well, I didn't want to say anything until I knew it was for certain. I started a new job here in the town I live in yesterday.

Larry, I'm so sorry I missed all this. Well, perhaps not - at least all I get to see/feel is the glory and pleasure of the path He has provided. Walk it in grateful dilligence, my friend - In Lord's will.
So glad to hear your good news Larry. The Lord Provides again!
Amen to that! I still find myself saying "Thank you Lord!" at least once a day.
Amen...Glad for ya buddy!! mark#78...
Thank you Lord !!
:bigsmyl:
Just amazing what He can do when we but "wait on His will..." huh, Larry?! :)
Hope the new job doesn't keep you from B-more...but if so, I understand that well... I seem to have a hard time focusin on anything but work after waiting for this opportunity for 29+months!
Praises to our Loving Lord for your good fortune!
Dave,
I will be there, but not until Saturday morning. Friday is my son Jon's Senior Prom and Momma says I gotta take lots of pretty pictures. I'll know better in two years with Frank, I'll coordinate with the dance committee early on.
Praise be to God! Good luck in the new job! Mike
