I have a Scorpion longbow. I cannot find a signature other than the 68"--//-- 62#@28". Was wondering if it is a Hamilton or another bowyer. Shoots great. Got to find my camera cord to computer to get a pic
I had two of his bows that I traded away some 10 or more years ago. If I recall correctly, neither had his name on them and only Scorpion and the data on weight, draw length etc. on them. No decals were used and the writing was penned on under the finish. Both were 68" in length. One was all purple heart with a scrimshaw inlay in the riser and 65# at 28*. The second was black locust and 67# at 28*. Wish I kept them.

Dan Bertalan's Book, "Traditional Bowyers of America" 1989 has a good chapter with pictures on the M.R. Hamilton Scorpion Longow line. If you can get a copy that might help you id the bow you have. He made very nice bows as evidenced by the wait back then which was about a year out.
I know of one other bowyer out of the L.A. area who was also at one time making bows with the Scorpion name.
I saw one similar at RMS website 64#@28"
