Hi i was wondering how i would go about fixing this bow if at all.The bow is 53" long and seperating on the back side of grip where the top limb meets the riser. Thanks (http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc405/parkerbooth/DSC03094.jpg) (http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc405/parkerbooth/DSC03095.jpg)
I would inject some loctite super glue in there and clamp it dowm. Wait a couple days and see how it sets.
Ill look on restoration 101 and see if i can figure out how to clamp it.Thanks
Like Wadde said clamp it firm, but not too tight. I like Locktite 420. I just fixed one just like that one that you're showing. After taking off the clamp I finished up with 5 minute two part epoxy, then sanded smooth.
Yep, That is an easy repair. Bd covered numerous repairs such as that. Wish that guy would finish up and get back here!!!!!
He has a wealth of knowledge of which he so freely gave..........
Doc been bear hunting all month, real bowdoc should be back on soon.
