Wanted to share this project. My buddy and me made this case for my A handle but got rolling with a few add-ons.

On the small door the white bear is made from doll sheep horn and the knob is musk ox. the knife is held in by a pin sliped through the loop. My friend is older and it has been a lot of fun to do this project. It is a keepsake for me.
Beautiful. Your friend has some talent.
Outstanding!!!!!

very nice! awesome job.
Wow! That case and gear belong in a real man cave. Excellent!
Looks great!
Very Nicely Done!!
Makes a great display plus the convenience of protective carry. Well thought out..... :jumper:
Sweet :)
I love it already.
Thanks for all the nice comments. This is the bow I got from the guy that got it from a pawn shop. I wanted to make something to carry it in but this turned out better than I expected. But the good news is that I have already shot 3d and turkey hunted with a nice piece of history
WOW!! Someone should build these to sell. Can I have it! Oh well...thought I'd ask.

Nice to see a Bear Archery classic being appreciated as it should be.Nice job!!
Thanks again to all, it's nice to get feedback from those I know are serious collectors. I also like these things but mine is on a much smaller scale. I am attaching pics of a couple of other items that carry on the "old" bear.
The quiver was made for me by a friend(Dale Pottinger of formely Pottinger targets, if some remember back before McKenzie targets came on the market)and the buckle was a bear compound buckle that had the compound removed and Fred's signature placed on it(recieved thru friend Hillbilly King on another site)
Also couldn"t help showing my takedowns

Steve, that's quite a collection of 'goodies'. I remember the Pottinger targets very well. They were 'tuff' pulling arrows out during Jan and Feb. Good job.

Very Nice Steve
Great Job on removing that compound from the buckle. Looks like several of us have the same idea on the side quiver as I have seen several different version. Here is mine..... (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/toxo-collector/Articles203.jpg)
Great stuff Steve,congrats.
Here's my homemade quiver with the old bear.

Nice stuff, can I high jack my own thread and see pics of more custom made Bear "knockoffs"?
Here is an armguard a friend of mine built me a few years back...
