Hi All,
Trying to sell my 59 Kodiak and getting many trade offers. Made me re-realize the bug I have for 62 Kodiaks. About the only vintage bow I would want in a trade deal would be a 62. I'm not sure why but I love the looks of the them. The extra curve in the limbs, the clean black and white overlays. I've thought a lot about them the last few days...
So let's see'um. Post up some pics please and tell me what you think of them too.
Thanks
Rob
I love mine!

I have a few of them. All within a few pounds of one another. The 62 K is by far my favorite vintage Bear bow. I shot my original 62 K for almost 20 years.
This is the only one that I have a photo of....sorry for the glare and dark photos. It has some sweet grain in that rosewood....although you certainly couldn't tell from my photography skills! I tend to shoot this one a good bit, although it is the lightest of the group. It flings an arrow like a 50 lb. bow! Fred hit a home run with the 62 Kodiak!

I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for another sweet 62. If anyone knows of one available that is 50 to 60 lbs., let me know............
:campfire:
Nice bows guys.
They not only look good, they are one of the finest shooting bows Bear Archery EVER made....
Very nice, Guys. I've never held one in my hand..
Sweet!

Trap
Trap, Is that a one piece riser?
Sure is Nick
man thats pretty
NICE!! A real beaut!
Daryl,
Great to see them with one piece of rosewood. Sweet grain as well! That is one super 62K.
Has it been refinished?
Nope, still has original finish.
Funny story behind it. It was tossed in to sweeten a trade deal I worked out with a fellow collector. The collector was an older gentleman that didnt know how to post pictures so I took a chance just based on the laurels of the 62 Kodiak.
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Sometimes ya just get lucky.
