It is an early bow-like 1950-1951 is my guess w/o pics. I think you have too many digits too................................

Larry,

Sorry, I didn't get it. I asked for some more information and I just received a response back today that it had been sold. Maybe sadiejane got it?

I did buy another 57' Grizzly today along with four other bows from a local fellow though.

sorry folks, you're right
serial #28L116
its also has the standing bear with patent date and canada silkscreen logo, so not early 50's.
what i'd  consider original leather grip.
"stuck" so to speak with obligations in the kc area for a few months so...
decent shape, not perfect but certainly no damage other than surface blemishes.
yeah i did grab it off craigslist.
just couldnt help myself....
the fella really didnt wanna ship, if that makes anyone feel better.
will add pix tonite.
thanks!!

Great going sadiejane!

Actually, I just looked at the one I bought yesterday and it is a 1956 and I didn't have one.

I'm just guessing but from the serial number on yours it might be a 59-63. At least the ones from those years that I have are marked in that manner.

shot that little bow yesterday. shoots mighty fine. even for its weight it slaps the target with some authority. nice bow.
