Title: Feline Archery Recurve
Post by: Mike Shaw on February 06, 2011, 05:50:00 PM
I picked up a bunch of bows this weekend at a sportsman show and found this in the pile. A" Minty" Feline Lion Hunter 58" 45#. The first thing I noticed was that it looked a lot like a Wing Red Wing Hunter. I put a 58" Red Wing Hunter next to it and sure enough the same bow. Seems Wing must have made bows for Feline archery at some point. I learn something new every day in this collecting business. Anybody know any history or have any in'sight on this. Here are some pictures to share.

Mike, I don't know how correct I am here so someone may tell me i'm wrong. Dotty at Nelson arrows in Greensburg Pa worked at Feline and may know something. I thought I heard she was the owners Daughter but that may not be correct. I'm not sure if she is still in business but that should not be hard to find out. PM if you need a contact name to find out if Nelson's is still in business.
