Title: Ben Pearson Mace

Can enyone date a Pearson wooden bow ? Has the name MACE on it with black picture of a mace, also round decal with Golden Sovereign and Ben Pearson with address and Crown on top, decal is green,almost unreadable. Has: 1053
                             58"
                           59-14-1
                           45#-28"
Looks like walnut risor W/ three stright lams thru it.Limbs are brown glass w/ wood overlays on both sides.

Pictures, pictures, pictures.

I can tell you that the Mace was part of the Golden Sovereign line of Pearson bows, but you already know that by the decal.  The 1053 would be the model number.

Ben Pearson bows can be hard to date but there are Pearson collectors here that can help you...I'm just not one of them

Achery Archives lists the Mace for 2 years '67, '68.  Here are the descriptions,

"Mace, 1967, No. 1059, 58 inches
Full working recurved limbs
35 to 65 pounds
Brace height 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 inches
Brown glass
Semi-pistol grip with thumb rest, beveled arrow shelf
Bubinga and Holly laminates in handle, center shot sight window

40 to 65 pounds
Brace height 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 inches
Brown Personite glass glass, double reinforced tips
Semi-pistol grip and thumb rest
