Title: Bow Sock for a 56 Kodiak

I was given a 56 Kodiak, like new even still had the linen string with it. It also came in a bow sock. The bow sock is made out of cordaroy with a vinyl end cap on it, I was told this is what it came in, my question is, is this bow sock original with the bow?

I don't know if it is original, but it sounds just like the bow sock that came with my 1957 Kodiak.
