Can any one tell me a little about Fleetwood arrow shafts.
When were they in use? What were they made of? Are they any good now.
Reason I'm asking is, I got 4 with Bear Greenies on them. They came with a "minty" :bigsmyl: tape on which I plan on installing on my '59 Grizzly.
Oh yeah, they fly OUTSTANDING out of the Griz.
Would these have been in use in '59?
Anyone?
Kenny
I had a set of Fleetwoods in the early '60's...like '63 or '64.
Mine were black shafts and as I remember, they flew great out of my 50# bows. I think they were cheaper than Microflite.
They were definitely fiberglass. They were my first "non-wood" arrows.
Just tryin' to stroke my memory. Was it you that got my Bear Microflite # 8's? I think it was.
Thanks for the info Jack.
Wasn't me that got the Microflites.
These Fleetwoods are a dark redish/burgandy color.

Fleetwood Archery products were distributed from Superior WI. this doesn't mean they actually made the arrows though.
