Hello Guys, I got a few bows for this year's fall hunt.. first I got a very nice grizzy from Bjorn, Then I found out this bow was made in 1959.. This is one of the bows that came off one of those bow forms that I got from Mr.Bulter who ran a bowmaking/Archery shop down the road.. I picked up this bow the first of the year at the trad bow show in Kzoo.. I never put a string on it tell today.. I shot it a few times then took it over to Mr.Bulter to ask him about It.. From the number he put on it he said it was made in 1959. So I am going to have a few bows I hope to take a deer with.. first is the grizzy from Bjorn, Then this bow which is 45 pounds @ 28 I am going to add one of Trap feather rest..
Enjoy the photos guys,
Cody

The bow is made from green Bear glass and the core is Maple. The riser is Maple and Walnut.. Here in the next few weeks I will be making a copy of this bow..

Be careful Cody- you'll end up a member of the "so many bows-so little time" club, LOL. Good looking bow there, keep us posted on your version, Grant
Very nice looking bow. Post pics of your bow making process. You may need to stock up on the Mt. Dew!
