I have a 1960 mint Bear semi recurve Polar and a Box of arrows (12) that were bought back then and only shot a few times. Grandma says Grandpa shot less than 10 times.... I will trade for top end brand recurve or longbow......... send pics per email request..... jerrybellmyer@mchsi.com
This is the collector forum-not the classifieds. Please post your ad there.
Grandpa says put your ad in the classifieds.
trying to fiqure out how to delete this so I can put it in classified. Sorry guys, just thought I would give collectors a head's up....it really is not for sale, just a possible (and very slight one at that) for a trade.
I'd still like to see a pic or two

It's a stunning bow. Looks just like mine, but is 47#
I have the good fortune to live an hour away and have too many bows, possible trade in the works.
Hey Shaun if you get a chance run over there and pick it up for me
I think Shaun is on a feeding frenzy ;)
Trap
Notice, Jerry is a serious horse trader. He beat me up bad on the trade but we all ended up with something we wanted. Feeding frenzy temporarily sated.
Shaun, you should like the bow. It's not as fast as the '59 Grizz or Kodiak (not nearly as much early string weight) but it's a sweetheart and handles like the good longbow it's trying to be.
Since we're all looking at Polars, does anyone know how many different limb profiles were used in the '59-60 Polars? It seems to me there were at least two distinct profiles (based on the three I've had in my hands), but was curious what the real serious Bear folks have found out.
Now everyone stop paying attention to Polars!! You're driving the prices up and I'm broke!! :D
